George Peveler, 59, native of Veedersburg died Friday morning at his home in Charleston, SC of injuries suffered in an auto accident a year ago, relatives have been notified. The accident occurred while he was returning home from a visit with his father, John Peveler, Veedersburg. Funeral services and burial was in SC.
Mr. Peveler had lived in Charleston five years and was employed in the shipyards. He was born Oct 18, 1893, in Veedersburg, son of John and Dora Clay Peveler.
Surviving are his father, three brothers, Rockey, Columbus, Ohio; Chalres, Indianapolis and Ralph of Hall, Ind; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Potter, Indianapolis; Mrs. Grace Larson, Attica and Mrs. Vessie Lightle, Chicago.
