FITHIAN, Ill. - Jesse N. Peevler, 54, of Fithian, died unexpectedly at 8:05 p.m. Monday (Oct. 8, 1979) at Lakeview Medical Center. He had been a patient a few hours. Death was due to natural causes. Peevler was an Army veteran and was in action during the Korean War. He had been employed as a machinist for 27 years at General Electric Co. Born July 21, 1925, in Veedersburg, Ind., he was the son of Jasper N. and Icy M. Nolan Peevler. He was married June 18, 1953, to Beverly Judith Richter in Danville. She survives. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph DiAnne Leigh of Ft. Hood, Tex.; a son, Ted N. Peevler of Fithian; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Malloy officiating. Burial will be in Stearns Cemetery near Fithian. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.   --- typed by CA.
