Covington —(CNS)— Bloomer S. Penner, 87, retired farmer and life resident of Fulton Township in Warren County, died at 11:45 p. m. Thursday (Oct. 19, 1950) at his home, Covington Route 1. He had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past 10 days. He was born Aug. 24, 1863 in Fulton Township the son of Peter and Mary Pheobus Penner. He was married Dec. 27, 1897 to Etta Smith, who survives. He also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Susie Lunger of Danville and Mrs. Dora Spinks of Perrysville; a brother, E. C. Penner of Cissna Park, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of West Liberty Church. The body was returned to the family residence Friday where services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg will officiate. Burial will be in West Liberty Cemetery with Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge.   --typed by Walt W
