KINGMAN, Ind. (CNS)--Mrs. Etta May Penner, 93, of Kingman, Ind., died Sunday (June 9, 1968) at 12:45 a.m. in the Small Nursing Home, Waynetown. She had been a patient there five years. Born May 1, 1875, she was the daughter of Edward Jackson Smith and Melinda Katherine Brown. She was married to Bloomer S. Penner on Dec. 27, 1897. He died Oct. 19, 1950. Survivors include 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. A resident of the West Liberty neighborhood most of her life, she was a member of the Kingman Christian Church Ladies Aid and the Wabash and Fulton Home Demonstration Club. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington where friends may call this afternoon and evening. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate with burial in West Liberty Cemetery.

KINGMAN — Mrs. Etta May Penner, 93, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday in the Small Nursing Home at Waynetown, where she had been the last five years. She was a native of near Pittwood, Ill., born May 1, 1875 to Edward Jackson and Melinda Katherine Brown Smith. She married Bloomer S. Penner on Dec. 27, 1897. He died Oct. 19, 1950. Surviving are nieces and nephews. Preceding Mrs. Penner in death were five sisters and five brothers. She was a member of Kingman Christian Church and its Ladies Aid and also of the Wabash-Fulton Home Demonstration Club. She lived in the West Liberty neighborhood most of her life and 10 years at Kingman prior to going to the nursing home. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home at Covington, where friends may call. Rev.
