PETERS, Pearl Roach - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON – Mrs. Pearl V. Peters, 89, of South 11th Street, a former employee of Dorsay Tire Co. at Indianapolis, died Thursday morning in her home here. She attended the Baptist Church. Born April 11, 1887, in Missouri, she was a daughter of Patrick and Naomi Roach. She was married to Frank R. Peters at Covington. He died in 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Griffin of Denver, Colo.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in DeVerter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
