NEWTOWN, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Lulu Bell Peterson, 75, of Newtown, a retired registered nurse, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at 1:40 a.m. Friday (Feb. 4, 1955), where she had been a patient fout days.

Mrs. Peterson was born Sept. 15, 1879, daughter of Newman and Sophia Clawson Jones.

The body is at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where friends may call sfter 6 p.m. Friday.  Funeral dervices will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Newtown with the Rev. Ernest Ronk officating.  The Body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the services.

She was a member of the Newtown Pythian Sisters and Hopewell Baptist Church.  She retired from nursing one year ago due to ill health.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Elmer Peterson.

Luella Belle Peterson of Newtown, passed away at the Culver Hospital at 1:40 a.m. Friday.  She had been a patient there for the past four days.  She was the daughter of Newman and Sophia Clawson Jones.  The only survivor is one brother, Jessie Jone of Newtown.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Newtown, with Rev. Ernest Ronk officiating.  The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m.  Friends may call at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro after 6 p.m. today, Friday.
