Mrs. May Peveler, 73, former Fountain County resident died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eunice Furr of Gary Tuesday night. She had been ill for the past few yeaers after suffering a stroke of paralysis. Before her marriate to Len Peveler, who preceded her in death several years ago, she was Miss May VanDeventer, and was born and raised in this vicinity. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Hesler of HiIlsboro and Mrs. Furr at whose home she died. She also leaves 4 grandchildren and six great granchildren. The body was removed to Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri with Rev. James Wire, pastor of Hillsboro Methodist Church in charge. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery, south of Veedersburg.  -- thanks Betty D.

Hillsboro June 29 -- Mrs. Mae PEVELER, 73, former resident of this place died Tuesday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Eunice FURR in Gary. She had been ill with paralysis for the past two years. Mrs. Peveler was born and reared near Veedersburg. She was married many years ago to Len Peveler, who preceded her in death. The survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Hesler of Hillsboro and Mrs. Furr at whose home she died and six great grandchildren. The body was returned to the Crumley Funeral Home here where funeral services will be held at a time to be set later. Burial in Bonebrake Cemetery; friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.  -- typed by kbz
