ATTICA -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ida May (Granny) Lutz Phillips, age 96, a life resident of the Attica area, who died at 11:10 p. m. Monday, Jan. 24, were held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. Elva Hardy officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Mrs. Phillips, who had been bedfast at the Alward Nursing Home in Attica for four years, was born Sept. 14, 1869 in Attica, the daughter of Alfred and Mary Smith Clark. She was married in 1887 to Briscoe Lutz, who preceded her in death in 1928. She later married Ernest Phillips, who died Nov. 18, 1949. She is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Tabb of Attica; three step-sons, Chester and Robert Phillips, both of Attica, and Raymond Phillips of Florida; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; one foster grandchild, and four foster great-grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
