Rossville (CNS) — Leonard (Ike) Phillips, 59, of Portage, Ind., a former Rossville resident, died Wednesday (Oct. 12, 1966) in the Porter Memorial Hospital at Valparaiso. He had been ill several months and hospitalized one week. Born April 14, 1907, in Rossville he was a son of Charles and Effie Utterback Phillips. He was a retired employe of the Republic Steel Mill in Gary, Ind. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Burkett of Rossville; Mrs. Lula Stephens of Ambia, Ind., and Mrs. Gladys Lohmeyer of Lafayette, Ind., and a brother, Ralph E. of Hoopeston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Young Funeral Home in Rossville with the Rev. Jack Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Saturday.   --typed by Walt W
