PHILPOTT, Paul Shirley - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Paul Shirley Philpott of Covington age 84 died Tuesday night Feb 2, in Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill. He was born May 21, 1897 the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Poole Philpott. He attended Millreek & Wallace schools and was a member of Freedom Church near Wallace, Covington Senior Citizen Club and was a charter member of Fountain County Historical Society. Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Harold Hirsch of Sioux City, Iowa and Mrs. Oliver Koe of Kixon, Neb. Funeral services were held Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home.... (sorry, rest of obit gone)
