Hilsboro - Russell C. Philpott, 87 of Hillsboro died Wednesday in his residence. A retired farmer, Mr. philpott attended Wallace schools. He was a member of Freedom Church, Hillsobro. he was b. Sept 2, 1909 to Jacob & Narissa Kellar Philpott in Fountain Co. He married Edith Clems July 25, 1934 at Hillsboro. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Hood of Crawfordsville; one garndchild; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She (sic) was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Fun. serv. are sched for 10 a.m. today in Shoemaker Funeral HOme, Wyanetown with Lester nIles offic. Burial will be in Zackmire Cemetery at Kingman. There are no calling hours.
