PHILPOTT, Valentine - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VT Philpott, better known as "Tine" died of typhoid fever Friday monring after a 3 weeks' illness. He appeared to be getting along nicely up to Wed night when the fever left him after which he failed gradually until his death. He had the best of medical attention and an excellent nurse and everything possible was done to prolong life but all to no avail. He died surrounded by his relatives and several neighbors and friends at the age of 53 years 9 months 23 days.
