Relatives here received word last week of the death of Clinton Phipps, at the home of his daughter, in Kansas. Mrs. John Ferguson and Alfred Phipps left at once for their father’s bedside, but death came before they reached him. It had only been a few weeks since Mr. Phipps had left here for a visit with his Kansas relatives. The remains were brought back for burial at Portland Mills.
