PIGG, James T. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

James T. Pigg of Tolona, Illinois, age 54, died Tuesday morning, November 10, at his home. He was born in Brocton, Illinois, August 7, 1927, the son of Henry E. and Evelyn R. York Pigg. In October 1961, he married Alice Totten, who survives. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Navy for 20 years. He formerly was employed at the Chicago stockyards.

  Also surviving are a son, James T. Jr. of Macon, Georgia; two brothers, William of Newtown and Henry E. Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and a sister, Catherine Simon of Joliet, Illinois.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Freese Funeral Home in Tolona with Rev. Truman Smith officiating. Burial was in Payne Cemetery at Brocton, Illinois. – thanks to S
