WAYNETOWN — Eva Ruth (Peffley) Pittman, 77, 114 W. Washington St., Waynetown, died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005 in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. She was born Aug. 27, 1928 in Ladoga, the daughter of Clyde Leslie and Helen Mary (Nickelson) Peffley. She married Donald Howard Pittman Oct. 24, 1950. He preceded in death July 20, 1985. She grew up in Crawfordsville and attended Wilson School. She had also lived in Attica and Williamsport before moving to Waynetown in 2001. She worked for Radio Materials Corp. in Attica for 17 years. She had attended the Attica Assembly of God and was presently attending the Church of the Living Water in Crawfordsville. Survivors include: two daughters, Annette (Jeff) Watkins, Wingate and Donna Cox, Newtown; a brother, Earl “Jim” Hershel Peffley, Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mildred Pickett, Crawfordsville and Rose Eder, South Bend; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Friends may call from noon until service time at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Pastor Chester Logston officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
