Forrest R. Pitzer of RR 4, Veedersburg, age 65, died Saturday evening, August 20, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Fountain County, July 12, 1918, the son of Charles Ray and Iva Auter Pitzer. December 1940, he married Florence Crudge, who survives. A lifetime farmer, he was a member of Sterling Christian Church, and the Fountain County Farm Bureau.

  Also surviving are his mother of Covington Manor Nursing Home; two daughters, Ruth Ann Newkirk of Covington and Jean Clifton of Kokomo; a son, Donald of Oakland, Illinois; a sister, Inez Snouweart of West Point; and three grandchildren.

  The body was taken from Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home to Sterling Christian Church for funeral services Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
