VEEDERSBURG —Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at Mt. Hope Cemetery here for David Mont Powell, age 61, who died at Fort Wayne Friday, Dec. 12. The Parham Funeral Home was in charge. The Rev. Harold Fogle, pastor of the First Church of Christ, Covington, officiated. Mr. Powell was born March 29, 1908, the son of Frank and Mabel Powell. Survivors include: seven brothers, Chester, James and Everett, all of Covington, Herbert of Plymouth, Albert of South Bend, Austin of Carson City, Nev., and Orville of Veedersburg; and one sister, Mrs. Hazel McChesney of South Bend. --typed by Walt W
