Mrs. Nellie L. Prather, 63, Route 2, Covington died at 1 p.m. Monday at Lake Worth, Fla where she and Mr. Prather were spending the winter. The body will arrive at the residence Thursday morning and funeral services will be at 2 p.m . Friday at the Howard Chapel. Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home will have charge of burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Mrs. Prather was born Nov 3, 1884 in Vermillion County, daughter of David Bennett and Kate Millum Bennett. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick Prather; a son, Arnold, Rt 1, Perrysville; a brother, Robert Bennett, Crawfordsville and two grandchildren. --- transcribed by kbz
