Veedersburg – Kenneth Ray Priest 58 of 904 Gray St, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday July 7 in his home. He was born Aug 20, 1935 in Georgetown Ill. He was married Oct 28, 1961 in Danville, Ill to Carol Sue Schultz and she died in 1989. Mr. Priest was employed by Tee Pak Corp in Danville, Ill as a machine operator. He was a member of American Legion Charles Forrest Post 288 in Veedersburg. Surviving are a son, Kenny Priest of Veedersburg; three daughters, Tammy Sims of Georgetown, Ill; Mrs. Frank (Teresa) Pritchard of Lafayette and Mrs. Mike (Peggy) Morton of Veedersburg; three brothers, Clarence Priest of Georgetown; Fran Priest of Ft. Wayne and Wally Priest of Statkiss, Fla and two sisters, Evelyn Cummings of Bloomington, Ill and Helen King of Denver, Colo. – kz

Surviving are a close friend, Brenda Partridge, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother. - kz
