PROCTOR - Mary McCloude

  Mary Proctor of Waynetown, age 77, died Wednesday morning, February 23, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She was born in Arkansas, June 2, 1905, the daughter of Merrit and Maude McCloude. October 21, 1922, she married Curtis D. Proctor, who died May 1, 1973. She was educated in Ripley Township schools and had lived in Waynetown since 1934. She was a past worthy matron of Waynetown Order of Eastern Star, a charter member and past president of the Auxiliary of Crawfordsville Eagle’s Lodge and member of Crawfordsville Women of the Moose.
  Surviving are five sons, Harold of Mellott, Paul of Dayton, Ohio, Donald of Waynetown, Ralph of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Leslie of Indianapolis; a brother, Herman McCloude of Crawfordsville; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – thanks to S
