Veedersburg

George Isley Pullen, age 70, a native of the Veedersburg community, died Friday Sept 20 at his home in Sacrmento, Calif. He had been ill the past year. He was the son of George and Bessie Isley Pullen and had resided the early part of his life in Veedersburg. He retired after being associated with the Standard Oil Co. for several years. Survivors include his wife, Ada, his father, George, a sister, Mrs. Virginia Dowden; and a brother, Raph all of the Sacramento area. Three cousins, Mrs. Fred Young, Mrs. Alpha Keller and Mrs. Cecil Pearson all of Veedersburg also survive. Services and burial were held in Sacramento Monday Sept 23.
