Newtown - Carl Quigle (sic) 83, of Newtown, died Wednesday evening after a three-year- illness. He was born in Richland Twp Jan 16, 1882, a son of William and Jeanette Kingore Quigle. On Sept 5, 1908, he was married to Mabel Kerr. Mr. Kerr was a retired farmer and had spent all his life in RIchland Twp. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, F & AM 305 and OES 282. He is survived by his wife, a son, Howard Quigle of Newtown; a grandchild and three great grandchildren. A son, Charles William Quigle, was killed in WWII. The body was taken to tthe Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, where arrangements are pending. He will be buried in the Newtown cemetery.

NEWTOWN — Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro for Carl Quigle, who died Wednesday night at the Ben-Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. Burial will be in the Newtown Cemetery. Rev. Peter Heemstra, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday.
