RAYMOND, James Edward

James Edward Raymond of Heber Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Attica, age 66, died in a hospital at Heber Springs, Friday, May 7. He was born at Lafayette, January 29, 1916, and was reared by Harry and Clara Hill O’Connor. In 1956, he married Dorothy Jean Shelley, who survives. A graduate of the Indiana School for the deaf in Indianapolis, he had been employed at Ford Motor Company Body shop in Attica and Paris Laundry of Attica.

  Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Merle Brier of RR 3, Covington, Mrs. Ben Bowles of Attica and Mona Franklin of Lafayette; and several stepchildren.

  Graveside rites and burial were Saturday morning in Riverside Cemetery at Attica with Rev. Edward Matuszak officiating. Maus Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
