Yeddo—Elizabeth C. Rice, 98, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Yeddo, died at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 1989, at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville.
She was born July 30, 1890, in Pine Bluff, Ark., the daughter of John and Barbara Sines Condon. She was married August. 14, 1915, to Harry Rice, who preceded her in death in January 1971.
She had lived most of her life in Chicago and since April 1988 she had lived in Crawfordsville. She maintained a summer home in Yeddo.
She was a member of Church of Christ Scientists in Chicago and Yeddo Order of Eastern Star Chapter 313.
Surviving are several cousins, including Mrs. Orville (Anna) Ward, Crawfordsville.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, with burial in Centennial Cemetery near Yeddo.
