Fred Rice, formerly of Fountain County, now of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, died at the Claiborne County Hospital in New Tazewell, Tennessee May 9. He suffered a heart attack earlier.
Local survivors include a brother, Grover Rice of RR 3, Covington and three nephews, Bill, Paul and Wayne Rice of RR 3, Covington.
