Kingman — Funeral services for Jesse Richardson, age 73, life resident of Wabash Township, and resident of Kingman Rt. 2 for the past nine months, who died at 10:50 a.m. Friday, June 28, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. He died at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington where he had been a patient one day. He had been in ill health two years. Mr. Richardson was born Feb 3, 1890 in Wabash Twp., the son of Henry C. and Sarah Elizabeth Allen Richardson. He had lived in Wabash Twp., until nine months ago when he sold his home and bought a trailer which was placed at the home of his sister, Mrs. Homer (Ola) Hathaway on Kingman Rt. 2. He had never married and he was a retired farmer. Surviving, in addition to his sister, Mrs. Hathaway, are: another sister, Mrs. Florence Moore of Danville, Ill.; one brother, Will Richardson of Covington Rt. 1; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and one brother. Officiating at the funeral service was the Rev. Thomas Stapp. Burial was in the Cooper Chapel Cemetery, southeast of Covington. Serving as pallbearers were: George Moore, Kenneth Moore, Richard Hathaway, Bill Hathaway, Dale Bennett and David Richey.   --typed by Walt W
