RICKETTS, M. Frances Tanner - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

M. Frances Ricketts of RR 2, Williamsport, age 78, died Wednesday afternoon, October 13, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born near Marshfield, June 14, 1904, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Kiser Tanner. November 1, 1919, she married Robert W. Ricketts, who died July 8, 1960. Mrs. Ricketts was a member of Galloway Chapel Church near Marshfield, Attica women of the Moose and Senior Citizens of Marshfield. She had worked at the cafeteria at Olin Mathieson Chemical Corporation and Covington High School.

  Surviving are three daughters, Fauniel Thurman and Treva Wilkinson, both of Williamsport, and Sandra Mycroft of Covington; three sons, Harold G. and Leslie, both of Covington, and Kenneth of Williamsport; two sisters, Dorothy Salts of Danville and Minerva Morlan of Marshfield; 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. – thanks so much to “S”
