RIDER, Phyllis Underwood

Phyllis L. Rider, 55, RR 1, Bloomingdale, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 13, at Vermillion County Convalescent Center in Clinton.
Born October 7, 1928 in Pratts Run, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Guy and Zelma Seckman Underwood. In 1972, she married dale Rider, who survives. She was a nurse’s aid in several area nursing homes and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Crawfordsville.
Other survivors include a son, Donald J. Smith of Cayless, Maine; three daughters, Barbara Thomas of New Martinsville, West Virginia, Gwendolyn Thompson of Bloomingdale, and Linda Lamb of RR 2, Veedersburg; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services wee conducted Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
