Mrs. F.M. Pitman of Hillsboro, has learned of the death of her brother-in-law, Abraham L. Ridge, 73, of Guthrie, Okla who died at the Hunter Rest home in that city on Tuesday, may 7 after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Ridge was formerly of Covington and was married to Miss Ada Ellis of Hillsboro. Most of their married life was spent at Guthrie, where he had been employed as a barber for 39 years. Mrs. Ridge
preceded him in death a few years. He was a member of the Guthrie Masonic Lodge. Survivors are one son, Ivan Ridge of Guthrie; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Battie and Mrs. Katie Richardson of Indianapolis, Ind and a half brother, Clyde Ridge of Chicago. Funeral service was held from the chapel of the Davis-Owen Funeral Home and burial was in Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie --- transcribed by kbz
