RILEY, Albert

Albert Riley 86 died about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Small Nursing Home in Wayentown where he had lived the past several years. He was born January 30, 1874 in Fountain County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Riley. He was married to Goldie Campbell who died in 1940. Mr Riley was a member of the Centennial EUB Church and IOOF and was a retired farmer. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Vera Hutts of Valporaiso; four sons, Albert of Rt 5 Veedersburg; Lowell of Rt 4 , V'burg; George of Dearborn, Mi; and John of LaPorte; a brother, Dave Riley of near Covington; 3 sisters Mrs. Lottie Wallace of Boswell; Mrs. Daisy Thayer of Danville Ill and Mrs. Lizzie Cunningham of Calif; 14 grandchildren and six greats. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers. Funeral services were at 1 p.m Saturday at the Centennial EUB Church east of Yeddo with the Rev Phil Edwards officiating. Burial in Centennial Cemetery with Woodrow Funeral Home in charge.
