Elsie Mae Riley of Silverwood, age 73, died Thursday afternoon, September 15, at her home. She was born near Georgetown, Illinois, July 16, 1910, the daughter of William Hugh and Mary Catherine Stahl Johnson. March 6, 1948, she married Robert Curtis Riley, who survives. She was a member and trustee of Cayuga Community Holiness Church, a member of American Legion Auxiliary and attended Free Holiness Mission at Lodi, where she served as organist and pianist.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Sis Randolph and Clara Marilyn Livengood, both of RR 2, Kingman, and Mary E. Hollingsworth of Cayuga; four sons, George T. Hinkle of Ridge Farm, Illinois, William F. Hinkle of Cayuga, Carl D. Hinkle of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Charles A. Root of RR 2, Kingman; two sisters, Rev. Clara Vacketta of Cayuga and Rev. Pansy Holycross of RR 2, Kingman; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. William Lehman officiating. Burial was in Thomas Cemetery at Newport.
