Mrs. Luella Riley, age 85, of 103 E. Pike St., Attica, a resident there most of her life, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday, April 17, at the Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient there since March 26 when she fractured her hip in a fall. She was born Aug. 28, 1880, it Bartholomew County, the daughter of George and Sarah Rann Allen. She was married there in 1902 to David O. Riley, who died in 1938. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Ida Mae Scott of Attica; one brother, Otto Allen of Burlington; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Virgil, in 1960 and one daughter, Mrs. Stella Mornout, in 1955. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the DeSutter Funeral Home. Ronny DeLong officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. --typed by Walt W
