HENNING -- Paul Edward Riley, 73, of Henning, died at 12:45 a.m. today (Oct. 9, 1978) at the Americana Nursing Home in Danville. He had been a patient six weeks and ill four years. He was a farmer and laborer. He served as sergeant in the National Guard and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Danville. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and trapping. He had attended school in Mellott, Ind. He had resided in Henning since 1942. Born Aug 28, 1905, near Mellott, he was the son of James and Ludellia Ann Jones Riley. On Aug. 3, 1947, he married Mary Maude Levite, who survives. Other survivors include two stepsons, John Levite of West Lafayette, Ind., and David Levite of Tilton; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Hollandsworth of Danville; a stepbrother, William Braton of Chicago; four step-grandsons, four nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a stepson and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Morrison Funeral Home in Bismarck, with the Rev. L. Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Emberry Cemetery near Collison. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.   --waw
