KINGMAN — Martha Joan “Jody” Ring, 51, Kingman, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002 at her residence. She was born June 9, 1951 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Herman Cedric and Mattie (Jublenski) Nibbe, Sr. She married Charles E. “Chuck” Ring April 21, 1990 in Shelby. He survives. Survivors, besides the husband, include: a son, Todd Hipsher, Indianapolis; two daughters, Tracy (Richard) Messer, Covington and Diana (Heath) Blankenbeckler, Veedersburg; five brothers, Warren Nibbe, Westville, Ill., Howard Nibbe, Sullivan, Ill., Roger Nibbe and Robert Nibbe, both of Danville, Ill., and Herman Nibbe, Jr., Texas; three sisters, Marlene Sollars, Danville, Ill., Ethel Gooch, Indianola and Carol Deffenbaugh, Kingman; three grandsons, William James Blankenbecker, Michael Aron Thornsbrough and Shane Austin Heath; two granddaughters, Nicole Kathleen Blankenbecker and Jessica Lorrayne Sisney; and 32 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and her parents. Funeral services were be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Hall Funeral Home, Kingman, with Chaplain Dane Avery officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
