WILLIAMSPORT — Mrs. Carrie L. Ringer, age 96, of Williamsport, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, where she had lived seven years. Born Dec. 24, 1871, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Elisha and Lucy Ellen Hargrove Little. She was married to a Williamsport attorney, Victor H. Ringer, in 1926 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Ringer was a retired school teacher, having taught 40 years. For 25 years, she taught at shortridge High School in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of DePauw University at Greencastle and held memberships in Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Rocky Dale Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Williamsport. Frankfort Methodist Church, Indiana State Teachers Association, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had lived in Williamsport since 1926. She is survives by: two stepsons, Alfred V. Ringer, a Williamsport attorney, and William R. Ringer of Chevy Chase, Md.; two nephews and two nieces. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crowmer-Siddens Mortuary in Williamsport. The Rev. Carlyle Mason officiated and burial was in Hillside Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
