VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Mrs. Hattie Lashbrook Roach of Sterling died at 3 p.m. Friday (May 8, 1970) at the office of Dr. P.R. Petrich in Attica. She was married Nov. 11, 1915 to Ralph W. Roach in Covington. He died in 1967. Surviving are a son, Harold of Silver City, N.M.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lewis, in 1959. Arrangements are incomplete at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg.   --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Services for Mrs. Hattie L. Roach, 71, of Sterling, who died Friday in an Attica doctor's office, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parham Funeral Home, Veedersburg, the Rev. Bill Keller officiating. Burial will be in Lockfield Cemetery there. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Roach was born May 11, 1898, to Thomas and Rebecca Lashbrook. Survivors include four brothers, Truman of Brazil, Ind., Willis of Carbon, Ind., and Garnet and Lawrence of Lafayette, Ind.; and two sisters, Hazel Wright of Attica and Edna Blankenshick of Placentia, Calif.
