Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) -- Isaac Henry Roach, 80, a retired coal miner and resident of Warren County for 40 years, died at 6:50 a. m. Wednesday (Sept. 6, 1961) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where he had been a patient 10 weeks. Born Feb. 10, 1881, at Hannibal, Mo., he was the son of Patrick and Nomia Fulton Roach. Survivors include a son, Ivan of Williamsport; a daughter of Williamsport; two brothers, Frank of Williamsport and James of Covington; a sister, Mrs. Frank Peters of Covington, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p. m. Friday at the Machledt Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Douglas Dickey will officiate, with burial in Highland Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends will be received after 2 p. m. Thursday.   -- typed by Walt W
