W ILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS ) —Ivan S. Roach, 46, of 205 Front, died at 3:30 p.m Friday (Oct. 16, 1970) at Community Hospital where he had been a patient for six weeks. He had been ill since April. Born at Kramer, Warren County on Dec. 18, 1923, he was the son of Isaac and Joy Jernagan Roach. He was married Feb. 29, 1944 to Clara E. Gritten in Williamsport. She survives. Mr. Roach had lived in Warren County all his life. He was a foreman in the maintenance department of Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica for the past 14 years. Prior to that time he was employed at Citizens Motors and Danley Auto Parts in Attica. Mr. Roach served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He Was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church, the F&AM Lodge 38, and the Scottish Rite of the Indianapolis Valley. Besides his widow, survivors include a son, Ivan E., his mother, Mrs. Joy Beck, and a sister, Mrs.. Opal Froedge, all of Williamsport; also, a granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Monday at the DeSutter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norman Able officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.   -- typed by Walt W
