Veedersburg — Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Roach of Veedersburg learned at noon Tuesday of the death of their son, Louis A. Roach, 42, of Dinuba, Calif., in a traffic crash. Mr. Roach was instantly killed Tuesday morning in a headon , auto-truck collision as he was going to work. He was a building contractor and had lived in California the last 15 years. His parents left for Chicago to fly to the West Coast. A native of this community, he was born May 3, 1917, to Ralph and Hattie Lashbrook Roach. He was a 1935 graduate of the loca1 high school. He was married to Edna Cox of Veedersburg Nov. 1, 1936. Mr. Roach was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Surviving besides the parents and widow are two sons, Philip Lee and Michael, at home, and a brother, Harold of Thermopolis, Wyo. Funeral arrangements are pending but services and burial will take place in Dinuba. --typed by Walt W
