ROACH, Patrick - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Patrick Roach, age 92 years, one of the two surviving Civil War soldiers in Covington, died at his home on Saturday, May 1, following an extended illness. He was a son of Arthur and Mary Roach and was born in Missouri on December 2, 1844. He is survived by three sons, James, of Covington, and Frank and Isaac and of Judyville; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Boggs, Williamsport, and Mrs. Pearl Gerstley, Indianapolis; also five grandchildren. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic church on Monday morning. Rev. Father Delfosse officiated and burial was made in the Mound cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
