John M. Roark, 84, retired railroad employee died at 9 a.m. Thursday at his home in Veedersburg. He was born March 14, 1865 in Taylor County, Ky son of Louis and Martha Shofner Roark and lived here 38 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Callie Roark; two sons, John W, Middletown, Ohio and James, Attica and 16 grandchildren. --- transcribed by kbz
