Funeral services for Everett E. Roberts, former resident of Veedersburg who died Wednesday morning, Feb 16 at his home in Indianapolis, were held Saturday afternoon at the Tolin Funeral Home in that city. Mr. Roberts was born October 16, 1878, son of GM and Frana M. Roberts, and spent his early life in Veedersburg. He was married to Miss Daisy Jane Kell who survives. Other survivors are a son Thomas C., one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, one brother, WL Roberts, all of Indianapolis; and one sister, Mrs. Guy Simpson of Veedersburg. He leaves a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Laurence K. and sister Mrs. Blanche McBroom. Mr. Roberts had lived in Indianapolis for the past 40 years. Burial was made at Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. --- transcribed by kbz
