Veedersburg -- Mrs. Luella Roberts, 72, wife of Alona Roberts, died Tuesday night at her home in Veedersburg. she had been in failing health several years and seriously ill 2 days. Born April 15, 1879 at Wea, Ind, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of George and Jeanette Primmer Gates. She married Alonzo Roberts Nov 11, 1909. Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lindamood of Veedersburg and Miss Mary Roberts at home; a son, Howard Roberts of Danville, Ill; a brother, Gilbert Gates of Lafayette and a sister Mrs. Ethel Brewer of Danville, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Veedersburg Evangelical United Brethren Church of which Mrs. Roberts was a member. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at Fishero Funeral Home.
