ATTICA -- Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Roberts, age 79, of Attica, who died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, in the Community Hospital in Williamsport, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. Eugene Pols officiated and burial was in the Mound Cemetery near Pine Village. Mrs. Roberts, who had been ill one month, was hospitalized one day. She was born Sept. 22, 1885, in Warren County, the daughter of Elmer and Minnie Hickman Metsker. She was a life resident of the area. She was married in Attica Dec. 25, 1900, to Jordan Roberts, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: one daughter, Mrs. Paul Pierce of Pine Village; one son, Elmer of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Emma Boyer of Lafayette; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. --waw
