Henry Rodgers was born January 29, 1840 in this, Fountains county, where he spent almost almost all his life. He was a son of Wm. and Charlotte Rodgers. He was married September 3, 1866 to Rena Trinkle who survives him. His death occurred at his home in this city May 28, 1906. Mr. Rodgers united with the Christian church some 23 years ago and has lived an honorable life. He served his country during the war of the rebellion and has ever been found on the side of right, a generous kind hearted, good citizen whose death is sadly mourned by all who knew him. …….. – jlr
