Harvey Helms of Veedersburg has been notified of the death of a nephew, Burton rogers, 38 at Malvern, Ark. He was killed in an automobile accident. He was the son of Joe and Maude Helms Rogers, former Veedersburg residents, and had visited here many times with his parents. --- Transcribed by kbz

Veedersburg—Edward and Harvey Helms were today notified of the death of their nephew, Burton Rogers, of Malvern, Ark. The telegram announcing his death stated briefly that he had been instantly killed in an auto accident. He was 3-years of age and the son of Joe and Maude Helms Rogers. The parents were former Veedersburg residents. Both are deceased. Funeral services and burial will occur at Malvern. – thanks to S&E
