LYDIA J. NOLEN ROMINE,   daughter of Tobias and Elizabeth Nolen, was born Sept 8, 1883; departed this life Oct. 9, 1914, age  31 years, 1 month and 1 day.   She was united in marriage to Daniel Romine in May, 1900, and to this union were born seven children, four boys and three girls, one baby, Irene, having preceded her mother to the realm of the great beyond.  She leaves to mourn their loss a husband, six children, an aged father, six brothers and four sisters, besides a legion of friends.    On September 14th typhoid fever fastened itself upon her and all that medical science and  kind  friends could do was of no avail and on the 9th of October at 11:30 a.m. her spirit took its flight to Him who gave it.   She was a patient sufferer at all times, until the end came as a relief.  She was a true companion and a kind and loving mother, who will be sadly missed in the home.   Short funeral services were conducted at the home near Brazel by the Revs. Brannum and Howard of the M. E. church after which the remains were shipped to Kingman, where at the home of her father on Sunday at 10 o’clock A.M. another short service was conducted by Rev. Levi Woody,  Burial was made in the Zackmire cemetery. -s
