ROMINE, Marvia

Mrs. Marvia L. Romine of Danville, Illinois, age 83, died Saturday morning, January 2, at Americana Healthcare Center. A former resident of Covington and Kingman, she attended Covington and Kingman, she attended Covington schools. She was born in Marshfield, July 6, 1898, the daughter of Albert B. and Ara Mae Ware Layton. June 23, 1919, she married James A. Romine, who died February 14, 1967. Mrs. Romine was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.    Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Emery of Sarasota, Florida, and Gretchen Supp of Danville; two sons, Keith L. and James A. Jr., both of Danville; a sister, Vala Keller of Danville; a brother, Paul L. Layton of Homewood, Illinois; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. J. T. Myers officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. ā€“ thanks so much to ā€œSā€
