Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Rose, who died Sept. 20, in Chicago, were Sunday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, with Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Interment was in Old Hillsboro Cemetery. Mr. Rose was a resident of Chicago for 20 years, and a former resident of Gadsden, Ala. He was married in 1953, in Chicago, to Maxine Taylor of Hillsboro. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and worked for the railroad.  --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO – Thomas Jefferson Rose, 7102 S. Jeffrey, Chicago, died suddenly Friday morning. He had lived there 20 years. Formely of Gadsden, Ala., he was married in Chicago in 1953 to Maxine Taylor of Hillsboro. A retired employe of the Southern Railroad, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here. Funeral services, the hour unannounced, are to be Sunday afternoon with Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating and burial in the old Hillsboro Cemetery. – jlr
