William F. Royal of Mellott, age 82 years, passed away at the Lafayette Hospital Monday at 1:00 a.m. He was born in Mellott, the son of Leonard and Priscilla Royal. He was unmarried and made his home with his brother, Walter Royal. No immediate relatives except nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services were held at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon at the Union Christian Church in Newtown. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. --- transcribed by kbz
